This bonsai was originally field grown by Peter Snark of Willowbog Bonsai in the UK. It was sold and resold to bonsai collectors in Italy for several years. It was sold to a collector in the US in 2012 and purchased for the Milwaukee Collection in 2014. The container is hand made by John Pitt a British potter. It was exhibited in the 2014 US National Exhibition.
